Recording a Demo

1) Press ~ to open console
2) Enter /record DemoName

To Stop Recording

1) Press ~ to open console
2) Enter /stoprecord

The demo should be located here: C:\Program Files\Activision\Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare\main\demos

Watch Your Demo

To watch your demo(s) you need to exit Call of Duty 4 Multiplayer. Open up your "C:Program Files/Activision Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare/main/demos". All your recorded demos will be here by default.

Take your demoname.dm_1 and put it in "C:Program Files/Activision Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare/players/demos". Now run Call of Duty 4 Multiplayer, bring down your console and type "/demo demoname" and your demo should begin playing. Type /dissconnect to leave the demo.

If you recorded the demos playing a mod they will be in "C:Program Files/Activision Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare/mods". Open up the folder of the mod you played and there should be a demo folder in there.
